The Hectic Clan’s Week July 3, 2015

Big Cork Board 2015-07-05Here’s another cork board of photos from the Hectic Clan’s week. There was even more going on this week than last week, as amazing as that is!

  • We celebrated two more days of Hectic 20’s birthday, since he hadn’t been home 4 of the last 5 years. It seemed fitting to just keep celebrating and celebrating
  • Hectic Grandson was his usual ornery self, including spending almost two hours on my lap/in my arms as I worked out on the stationary bike. Talk about a full body workout…trying to hold him while pedaling is tough.
  • It’s harvest in Kansas so we have to add 10-30 minutes to every trip. Following the equipment is slow business.
  • Hectic 16 traveled to the Congress of Future Science & Technology Leaders in Boston. It was our first trip to the new Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport in Wichita. It’s really the same place, just an entirely new terminal. While I’m a bit biased (my sister-in-law is in upper-level management there), they’ve done an amazing job with the facilities. Now if we could just resolve the issue of constant delays/cancellations/rescheduling via the airlines I’d be elated.
  • Hectic Grandson finished his first session of swim lessons and did an amazing job. He got a certificate that shows he’s met over half the skills necessary for his level.

As always, it was a Hectic, but fun, week. Hope yours was as amazing as our was!
