Twenty Free Kindle Books for 02/06/2015

Twenty e-Books that won’t cost a cent!

January came, and January went. I had plans, big plans. I even managed to make an attempt at goals for the entire year of 2015. Throughout that first month of the year I achieved some of my goals, exceeded a couple others, and stalled-out entirely on a fair number. At this point, I realize that I need to do a reset, setting more reasonable and achievable goals. But I don’t want to set goals that are too easy. Or too hard. I want them just right. The problem is, I’m not really sure how to do that. I’ve been doing a lot of reading, listening to podcasts, and just plain thinking about goal setting. Scroll down this page and your find a dozen books on goal setting. Some are really short, some are a bit longer, but none are all that insurmountable. I’m working my way through the list gathering more information so that I can set some goals that are going to make a difference for the rest of the year. It’s never too late to start, right?

I’ve also included eight books on gardening. This time of year, as the Kansas winds whip across the prairie, I start dreaming of having a garden. The kind that has no weeds, is well-maintained, orderly, and produces loads of delicious vegetables. Especially tomatoes. I could really go for a juicy, red, ripe, home-grown tomato right about now. But my dreams of mid-Winter usually get side-tracked in the early Spring, and about mid-June I give up and start thinking about going to the weekly Farmer’s Market on a regular basis. I usually actually go once or twice a summer. Just another thing that I’d like to change in 2015. But for right now, I’ve added these eight gardening books to my reading list and I’m working through them to see if I can convert my dream of a vegetable garden into the reality of some home-grown produce.
